I have only watched the original gameplay reveal from PSX 2014, the e3 gameplay from 2015 and psx story piece from PSX 2015. so I wouldn't be in a position to answer given I've not seen all the released footage. I didn't even look at your OP

Lol, it's like that "Check...and Double Check" game in Highlights magazine.

They changed the color on the box down left under the table, added more object's such as the yellow flowers, improved upon the colors, better shadows, the parasol's look more real with wrinkles included, a tiny bit less foliage but that is okay because more is not always better, especially not tree's since we are famous for choppimg most of our local tree's that aren't plantet for visual scenery such as they do in US desert's cities.

2015 still better. I'd say it's a downgrade but not so much.

Well, hard to tell on screenshots. How does the foliage or the umbrellas move in wind, how strong is motion blur and so on...that's all stuff which can change it to the better or worse which you don't see that much on this picture.

But it's probably not a downgrade considering everything and that alone is great nowadays if you compare it to pretty much all other games at release and how they looked one year before,.

They could simply be like "this is not so important let's reduce it but this is important let's make it better" from last year to this year, who knows without really having played both versions.

It's definitely not the most insane upgrade ever, some games changed completely even with art direction and everything and they looked much better after the change.
