BvS just wasn't really a good movie, so the bar for Civil War wasn't exactly set very high.

This greatly confuses me also

Why we also have console wars this is the comic wars I guess.

Choosing to decide between which $350 box you buy is quite different to a movie ticket, I would akin the console wars to Mac vs PC. But with movies it seems a little silly, I guess I just want good movies, I don't really care who makes them

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Wait there are "I love DC so I hate marvel" and vice versa people???

Is stuff like that still going on.  I love both.  I will say that Marvel was my go to comic back in the day but I bought both while growing up and care less about which one make the most money in the theaters.  If anything I hope both continue to make money so I can see the comics I love on the big screen.

No hé is right, there is absolutely no ambition in this movie, if you think thats ambitious i think you need to watch more/better movies, youll see thé world diffeently and it will appear you how lazy civil War is.

Movie critics have always been bad and not reliable. It's à total joke to see thé score of movies like Watchmen.

I know I'd rate Watchmen more of a 5/10

Youre lucky im not modérator, it would have been instant ban

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I'd hope so. I didn't think Batman V Superman was very good a movie. It was kinda a mess.

the problem for me comes in when I see "fans" trying to prop up everything made by one company and downplay everything by another.  I can't just walk away when I see someone go "kiddy Marvel Disney movie fans can't grasp the deep themes of BvS"  because if you let everyone just say that unchallenged then it becomes the narrative which is a false narrative to me.  I guess it's a war of reputation building.  I want them to all be good and I love many DC properties.  I grew up with the Justice League animated series.  That's why I want better movies than BvS and MoS and when those DC die hards try to prop them up because they don't see an alternative (or in their minds all critics are paid by Marvel) and must defend this cinematic universe.  And this isn't just people on the internet.  Marc Andreyko is always on some of my favorite podcasts and even when he compliments Marvel he still goes and makes it backhanded or compliments something from years ago just to insult the present.  Basically I want people to call it as they see it and while Marvel fans will insult Thor 2, Iron Man 2, First Avenger, Incredible Hulk, and even some of their better movies (nit pick but still criticism) DC fans seems to defend every element of their cinematic universe to the last breath and never offer any critism or breeze over it and then turn to insult MCU films.  I want to change the narrative to only giving praise where it is due and stop coming up with conspiracies to cover up a bad movie being rated badly.

Civil War just had their domestic opening weekend and it hit 181 million. perfectly in line with my predictions of 180-185. worldwide it is at nearly 500 million. in total it is at 678 million or something lle that.

batman v superman is at 856 million. 170 million ahea and Civil War just started.

Its second international weekend was 205 million, higher than its first weekend. Doing very well and will easily hit 1.2 billion. probably closer to 1.3 billion.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Batman v Superman was supposed to be the movie event of the year, but it quickly died off. I don't know how they managed to screw that up. Serioulsy, you have the two (three with Wonder Woman) most popular heroes for the first time together on screen. Anything below a billion is a failure in my eyes.

Why make billions when you can make millions?

Civil War will surpass it within the next week; I'm interested in its legs.

BvS was cool, not what I was expecting but worth the ticket. I'll probably like Civil War more if it's better than Winter Soldier. i honestly thought BvS would do a billion easily but the legs were terrible...
