Why we also have console wars this is the comic wars I guess.

Choosing to decide between which $350 box you buy is quite different to a movie ticket, I would akin the console wars to Mac vs PC. But with movies it seems a little silly, I guess I just want good movies, I don't really care who makes them

the problem for me comes in when I see "fans" trying to prop up everything made by one company and downplay everything by another.  I can't just walk away when I see someone go "kiddy Marvel Disney movie fans can't grasp the deep themes of BvS"  because if you let everyone just say that unchallenged then it becomes the narrative which is a false narrative to me.  I guess it's a war of reputation building.  I want them to all be good and I love many DC properties.  I grew up with the Justice League animated series.  That's why I want better movies than BvS and MoS and when those DC die hards try to prop them up because they don't see an alternative (or in their minds all critics are paid by Marvel) and must defend this cinematic universe.  And this isn't just people on the internet.  Marc Andreyko is always on some of my favorite podcasts and even when he compliments Marvel he still goes and makes it backhanded or compliments something from years ago just to insult the present.  Basically I want people to call it as they see it and while Marvel fans will insult Thor 2, Iron Man 2, First Avenger, Incredible Hulk, and even some of their better movies (nit pick but still criticism) DC fans seems to defend every element of their cinematic universe to the last breath and never offer any critism or breeze over it and then turn to insult MCU films.  I want to change the narrative to only giving praise where it is due and stop coming up with conspiracies to cover up a bad movie being rated badly.
