Looks promising. After the solid sales of Sonic and Secret Rings, shocking Sales of M&S, and Sonic's inclusion in SSBB- Sega is planning on competing Sonic's comeback with a major effort, with a massive amount of resources being poured into S:U. Appears that they have the entire team Sonic working on S:U with help from Sega devs all over the world.

I am not going to get my hopes too high, but with all the Cash M&S has to be bringing in, it appears they are pouring some serious effort into this one. No doupt it would sell far more on the Wii, the Wii has a proven Sonic audience.

I know this might be old news, but I hadn't heard it confirmed for Wii yet(although it makes so much sense)

I also expect there to be a DS version, they seem to like to do that. If there is not a PS3 version I am guessing it is because they did not think it would be worth the extra huge dev cost to put it over there.

Dont be fooled. It wont come to the Wii. It looks too nice graphically.

You forgot to mention the PS3 as well, though was that the wii or 360 version we all saw in the screens? It looked amazing for a sega game.

IGN is just listing it as Wii, 360 and PS3. I'm thinking they're just taking a guess more than this is a definite thing.

huh??? you know there could ALWAYS be another version we have yet to see pics of. It would be stupid not to put it on Wii after the exposure Sonic has gotten on the Wii. (already pointed that out, btw)

Gamespot, check the Wii section... yes it is a rumor! But it comes from an inside source, and is listed as probable.

Ok. The pictures we've seen are clearly graphics that are not capable on the Wii. But that doesn't mean there isn't also a Wii version in the works.

Right now all we know is that there is a new sonic game coming to one or more of the high def consoles. There's no idea if it's coming out on the Wii or if another sonic game is in it's place.
