It dropped 60% on its 2nd week-end in Australia so next week the theatres should be the time when the theatres aren't packed.

And there you are, constantly still clinging to every little disappointment you can.  You truly will twist anything and everything to feel justiied in your hatred for this movie, won't you?

Kinda sad, actually.

I think what is sad is someone feeling the need to defend the movie and not being able to stand it when facts are being posted.

In any case, the movie had a lower first Monday than Deadpool. It remains to be seen how much leg the movie has.

So it added just over $30M WW from Monday earnings. Very little reviews will be added since it's in every market at the moment.

I believe Deadpool had President's day which is the reason for Deadpool's 10th biggest Monday number.  This weekend will be very telling with weak openers releasing.

PS4/PS3/PC/3DS Owner (Will buy a Switch when mainline Pokemon game is released)

I thought it was just ok-ish the first time. Second time I didn't really want to see it but a family member wanted to go and I promised so alright. The first 20-30 minutes aren't great, but I liked it a bit more on second viewing.

It's not a bad film, but I wouldn't say it's a great film either. It's better than Age of Ultron.

I might get some flak for saying this but the inclusion of Spider-Man felt forced and unnecessary. The big fight kinda turns into a joke-fest. I think Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) alone could've filled the comedy quotient well enough, in fact I think the movie needed more Ant-Man and could've cut out Spider-Man entirely. But hey gotta make those Marvel bucks I guess. The film has a lot of bloat too ... 15 minutes or so probably could've been chopped.

I don't really like the Winter Soldier character either, I think I'd like to see the Red Skull back.

It's enjoyable. I mean you kinda have to remind yourself that these were comic book characters made 50-60 years ago intended for kids, and in that context movie's like this take the themes to about as far as you can go I think.

Superhero movies don't do great in Germany but I can definitely say that the weather isn't Civil War's best friend here right now (and probably some more European countries). First constantly really good weather of the year since ten days or so. First time we can sit in our beer garden or to have some nice barbecue.

Foreign box office week 1: 200 million

Foreign box office week 2: 220 million

There isn't a single studio on Earth that would feel sad about numbers like these.

You know which side he roots for, are you really that surprised? He will find every negative about this movie.

The overall numbers are nice but did you inlcude in the second week those foreign countries which had their first week (Italy, Poland, China and so on..)? Because that wouldn't make much sense.

Of course.  That is how the Foreign Box Office for the second week is calculated and reported, after all.
