Spain, though I have lived in the UK and Japan my whole adult life.

People there have 2-4h lunch breaks. Most people don't give a fuck about bullfighting or flamenco and I don't know anyone who's into those things, but somehow that's our image worldwide.

Image Worlwide, or image in Japan ? I got my fair share of stereotypes since I'm in Japan, for what I felt was elsewhere seen just as famous cultural attributes. I mean in most places France is famous for wine, but it's not like a total mistake... Only in Japan I have seen people, lot of people, asking me if I could drink beer... because, you know, french only drink wine ! I could give flamenco as a famous reference about Spain, but I could not say I have an image of spanish people super hot about flamenco.

Yeah,  guess that's true. No one ever mentioned flamenco in the UK, but in Japan some people think it's a compulsory subject at school in Spain haha. They like having everyone perfectly categorized.

You are jealous because your country isn't as rich and strong as the United States. We have the money and the power, and that's all that matters in this world. Stop crying!

Easy now big guy XD

Overall USA is rich compared to countries with smaller populations. E.g. 5.7 mill people (Denmark) vs. 322.4 mill people (USA).

It's a bit different when we look at GDP per capita. List is from The World Bank and numbers are from 2014.

What's the point in talking overall wealth? That doesn't always say much about the circumstances for the individual citizen.

Due to their huge populations China and India are projected to overtake the USA in overall wealth within the next 10 and 50 years, respectively. Will you be praising the overall wealth of those countries as well when that day arrives?

Additionally, Indonesia is projected to overtake Japan by 2050, again because of the huge Indonesian population.

I meant GDP ingeneral, so basically the economy and in that aspect the US is the undisputed king with currently 17,5 trillion and china at 11 trillion and india is even below 3 trillion i think and all these small nothern european countries are not even in the top ten. What use it has to talk about you say? I don't know just take a look around which country has the most companies internationally, which country's culture is every country adapting to? Economic strenght these days is more important is more important than millitary strenght but none the less, the US has both and i am proud of it!

Excuse me!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_toll_collection

"Norway has been the world's pioneer in the widespread implementation of this technology. ETC was first introduced in Bergen, in 1986, operating together with traditional tollbooths. In 1991, Trondheim introduced the world's first use of completely unaided full-speed electronic tolling. Norway now has 25 toll roads operating with electronic fee collection (EFC), as the Norwegian technology is called (see AutoPASS). In 1995, Portugal became the first country to apply a single, universal system to all tolls in the country, the Via Verde, which can also be used in parking lots and gas stations."

Hey, hey!

Don't make us look bad internationally. These are the conversations we save until it is just Americans in the room, XD

Jokes aside, I'm from the US, we're an odd mix alright. People from every corner of the world live here, making us one of the most diverse populations. Our terrain is likewise  varied, everything from high plains to swamps, temperate rainforests to tundra, frozen mountains to scorching desert, and everything in between.  Once we were politically isolated, but the World Wars thrust us onto the international stage and we've been busybodies ever since. Despite that we're pretty good at heart and always rank as one of the top countries in charitable giving.

Bonus fact: We aren't as fat as some people like to joke, but yeah... obesity is a problem we're trying to fix.

Good for you. You're perfectly entitled to be proud of that :)

I'm proud of the general living standards in Denmark (and the other Scandinavian countries) and our general high happiness (no one is left behind).

Additionally, I'm proud of how many refugees we've helped in spite of the size of our country being less than 43,000 km2.

I'm from Norway but moved to Sweden in 2013. The countries are very similar, they have an equal amount of annoyances and drawbacks and an equal amount of advantages and strengths as well. Overall, I like it here in Sweden, and I'm probably here to stay.

I was lead into this mistake by marketing campaigns. I will research better next time.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Netherlands we lost 3 world cups and are not qualified for the European championship.

I don't think that's worse than being beaten 7-1 in our own contry. You guess where I'm from   ;P
