If the NX is powerful enough and easy enough to adapt to, it wouldn't surprise me. I quite expect to see a PC version announced within a year of the game's current release as it is.

If NX is released this year then yes, probably not if it is released November 2017
I very much doubt that really, there haven't been a mainline FF on a Nintendo home console for quite a while now. But FF13 was also released Xbox 360, so who knows, but don't get your hopes up. I do think Kingdom Hearts 3 will release on NX.

Ryu is also in SSB and so was snake in brawl, so that could very well be just a fluke.

yup it will be
wont be a launch title for NX but it will come to the system after the consoles release

I am sure it would work on the NX, but, there will flow lots of water down the mississippi before a final fantasy game comes back to nintendo

You know that i mean a new one. Who gives a #&£ about ff4.
I just checked. Ff6 was released on the snes in 1994....so, 22 years ago, the last ff was released on a nintendo machine. I mean the new releases. No ff4 or 3 or whatever.

Several Final Fantasy games and remakes have been exclusive to Nintendo handhelds (including FF Explorers recently on 3DS) - and not to mention also the main series started as a Nintendo console exclusive. Many of the series biggest fans have played on FF pretty extensively on a Nintendo platform.
Considering how jaded the entire FF fanbase has been post-FFXIII, and with a sales goal as ambitious as 10 million - you need to engage and target all corners of the Final Fantasy fanbase. Especially if the NX successfully emerges as competitor to PS4 (particularly in Japan) and Xbox One.
Also add to the fact that Dragon Quest 11 and FFXIV have been discussed for NX - it's practically not a matter of "if" but "when"
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
