I'd love to see a sequel. It would be cool to see a greater variety of weapons, and upgrades, from Tesla. That was a huge missed opportunity.

I would buy a sequel, especially if they improved the gameplay. Get Naughty Dog to help out if need be, they're pretty good at the 3PS deal.

Exactly. The bridge was the best part. Prefer electric or thermite gun over pistol or shotgun.

I would sign up for a sequel if some significant changes are made. I'll just copy and paste the last paragraph from my review of The Order:
When Ready at Dawn returns to make a sequel to The Order, it should drop its cinematic pretensions, including the letterbox black bars that reduce visibility in hectic firefights, and focus on gameplay. The shooting mechanics are strong; the weapons, weighty and deadly, have a satisfying pop and crack; and the characters and mythology are intriguing. What's needed is a studio willing to pull all these things into a cohesive video game experience where the most important person isn't the script writer or the art director, but the player.
I found the 2.35:1 perspective very refreshing to play in, the much wider fov gave a lot more immersion in the world. However they didn't use it well. Instead we got the same fights based on a 16:9 aspect ratio with lots of high and low enemies instead of utilizing the extra visible space to the sides. It works better for outdoor spaces, not warehouses.
Gameplay was good in general apart from the qte fake fights, just needed a bit more. They need to work on the story though, it didn't make a lasting impression. Tesla's lab was very cool, but I can't really remember any of the other characters.
I would definitely be interested in a sequel. The Order series has potential imo.
The game is complete shite. So is the story. But a sequel won't hurt i suppose.
The characters where by far the strongest point of the game. I'd definitely watch an expanded fmv/ PSV type game based on that.

ReviewTechUSA? The guy who also reported, that all Wii U games would be 1080p/60fps? He talks out of his ass a lot. |
He also said the full potential of 8th gen consoles was reached like a year ago because they are basically PC hardware. He indeed talks out of his ass.
OT: I think the first game was awful but I'd gladly play a sequel if its good. How hard is it to clone Gears of War?

I wonder if the franchise being seen negatively would hurt the sales of the sequel whether it is good or not.
