even the propaganda piece in this thread did not blame gamergate evn though they tried to make the connection-  So maybe you should read the article 1st- then agan ignorance is bliss though right?

That's the part that makes me scratch my head the hardest.  How the hell did Nintendo not vet her before hiring her considering the type of image NOA likes to maintain?

Fair enough. But she really attracted bad press, which isn't in any case good for the company. Normally, I'd say they should defend the employee. But some sentences I've read from her are... disgusting.

Hmmm regarding gamergate i was following this situation over at KIA https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ I saw one thread trying to get her fired but the general conscious was that it was kinda hypocritical to fire someone over opinions (witch is what gamergate fights against) but some may have taken it to further levels with tweets/emails.

Either way its a sticky situation and im sure Nintendos reasoning is bullshit also. Pedophilia is a sticky subject but firing people because of personal opinions is wrong too i think. if someone does this they need to seperate themselfs as much as possible from their workplace. Treehouse localization is also pretty shitty.

lol so somebody gets fired from their job due to their own crappy PR performance and "it's not their fault". Sorry but if you are hired for a PR job you need to be good at PR.
