Hmmm regarding gamergate i was following this situation over at KIA https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ I saw one thread trying to get her fired but the general conscious was that it was kinda hypocritical to fire someone over opinions (witch is what gamergate fights against) but some may have taken it to further levels with tweets/emails.
Either way its a sticky situation and im sure Nintendos reasoning is bullshit also. Pedophilia is a sticky subject but firing people because of personal opinions is wrong too i think. if someone does this they need to seperate themselfs as much as possible from their workplace. Treehouse localization is also pretty shitty.
