Hi all! New member here, though i've been following for a while.

I just saw the MC numbers and......Joker 3 has a huuuuge decline not only compared to Joker 1 and 2 but also to Monsters 1 and 2. Anyone knows why? Even Builders which is a new gerne outsold (including digital). Maybe Square Enix should release Joker 3 Professional on PS4 and PSV?

Meanwhile, PS4 is doing amazing! Dark Souls 3 also sold very well, more then Bloodborne. Definitely a huge grow there!

Yeah Joker 3 had a huge decline. Still very profitable but as you say big decrease.

A ps4 and Vita release would do no harm, especially since all the other new games have been released there lately.

Dark souls 3 did great. Well up on bloodborne but down on Dark Souls 2 retail. Bloodborne did 45k digital first month (or was it week or 2?). So I'd expect a high digital ratio for this. Probably pretty even with dark souls 2 overall.

I think that it was clear it couldn't had a similar op to Dark Souls 2. PS3 had an established userbase for RPG and Souls games (Demons Souls and Dark Souls 1). Dark Souls 3 is a sign that the userbase is growing rapidly and as you said we don't know the digital numbers which could play a big role. PS4 and PSV games have high digital ratios

Also i think Joker 3 is a sign that the Dragon Quest userbase have moved to Playstation. I expect Heroes 2 to open higher than Joker 3. Maybe DQXI will open lower on 3DS then what most people believed.

PS4 Slim and DQXI HD will do wonders in Japan!

Welcome :).  Not sure why some japanese franchises are selling less, I am still bummed out about the SOV pre orders. I thought this was a great year for PS4 software but it is behind last year performance, don't remember last year being a year full with Japanese releases. 

Anyway alteast DOA xtreme 3 has the best opening in the franchise.

I think it's a little early to judge the software numbers. PS4 had a very strong Jan/Feb/Mar last year and Dragon Quest Heroes played a big role for that. But after during Spring/Summer/Autumm PS4 had a rough time which i don't think will happen again this time.

PS4 really became thé king of Japan

Don't think Dark Souls 3 did all that great to be honest.

Nintendo is lying out their ass about Wii U production not stopping. They are clearly managing stock to deplete it, basically Pokken got a higher Wii U shipment because of a bundle for one week, now we're right back down to the usual shortage levels. This should not be the case if they are producing a regular supply of units, these "shortages" have been going on now for over 2 months. 

NX is coming this year. 

Disappoint week, imo. Expect more for Dark Souls. PS4 about what i expect, but the real test is next week... and maybe the week after that.
