I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll see it, but no way I'm putting money down for it specifically. Ergo, either via cable, or stream.

The main reason he's probably missing is because the last GL movie with Ryan Reynolds was a critical and commercial failure. If the last movie had done good, GL would most likely be part of the JL. |
Not gonna fix that problem, if DC avoids them like that. Just makes it worse.
While reviews mean little to nothing to me, I do like going with friends and my group seem fairly indifferent to this so likely be weeks before convince someone to see it with me.

Pretty much my view on this. Honestly too many movies coming out to go see something that might be questionable.

DC's Cinematic Universe just seems incoherent and lacking a plan and a style or much of anything to hold it together. The mess that was Superman (and the mess that this movie looks like it is turning out to be) certainly doesn't give me an optimistic outlook, even though there is some stuff that theoretically could be cool in the pipeline.

They're having a Justice League movie out soon with no Green Lantern in it. If missing a key character for the Justice League doesn't sound rushed to you then I don't know what is. And you can't say it's all part of their plan because that's just plain stupid. ...Ok fine, either they're rushing it or just stupid. |
You mean like how the Avengers has been missing both Wolverine and Spiderman? Whoa, double standards much.
I've seen it today (here in Spain release date is march 23rd) and i have to say it isn't as great as i thought it was gonna be but it's definetely worth seeing.
Also Ben Affleck is simply the best batman ever and Eisenberg almost outshined the rest of the cast.

These seem to be the common complaints here:
- Not like the MCU
- Ben Affleck
Seems to me that people were goingto hate on it no matter what.

Firstly, the founding members of the Avengers doesn't even have Spider man or Wolverine which was formed in the comic in the 60's. Spiderman joined in the 90's and Wolverine in the 2000's. I'm assuming anybody that strongly feels Spiderman and Wolverine is a staple in the Avengers must be thinking of the Avengers from the 90s on and disregarding before then. But I agree Spiderman would be needed to do the proper Civil War story.
Secondly, licensing issues obviously. Fox/Sony/Marvel. The movies do the best they could. Crappy that Marvel movies can't use the term mutants and Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver can't be known as Magneto's kids.
DC movies doesn't have licensing issues what so ever so they have all the ammunition to their dispolsal, so why are they leaving out one of the biggest founding members of the Justice League member out of the Justice League movie?
Not double standard at all.
I was on the fence for the movie, not knowing if it was worth watching or skipping. But in the end, I'll skip it. Didn't have me hyped as other movie releases for this year.
