*sigh*
For the umpeenth billionth time, they already said "no Super/Ultra/Turbo/whatever" versions of this game.

I predict they won't release a new version like Super Steet Fighter or Ultra. Future retail versions will still be called SFV but have content unlocked and maybe some DLC. If I'm wrong, good for Capcom. Well lets wait and see if chraracters will be a grind to unlock. Considering they're selling them for $6 a piece I expect a good amount of grinding. Basically, I'm just making predictions and some people are getting worked up. Lets just wait and see. |
You are making predictions when we already have everything on the Table, and just seems to get better for who want to get it for free, because on the future they will add much more ways to get In-game Money.
And with some Hours of Single Player, that you can still finish on the Same day, you can get 320 Thousands of Fightin Money, that already is enought to purchase 3 Characters, and the 4 Character will only be avaliable after 7 Months of Release, so we already know that the Grinding is Easy, you make it seems that is Impossible to Unlock the Characters, that Get In-game money is harder than Level up on Perfect World, but when it is easier than purchase a Third Season Character from League of Legends.

No you won't see a multiplat of the game outside of PS4/PC. Also there will be 1, count it....1 version of the game. Capcom has stated this way too many times. I don't know why people keep hoping for something different. Sony co funded this game from the ground up. You think they will let other versions of the game be released on other platforms?! Just like Bayonetta 2 not coming to PS4/XB1 due to Nintendo paying for it. Same situation here. Also the Dead Rising 3 with MS situation is similar as well.

Or Street Fighter Alpha 4 Omega. Or any other title. Either way I bet they use the same engine, same fighters, tweaked balancing etc.

Either way I bet this never happens and this topic will be bumped months from now with people looking stupid.
I'm not betting on Capcom making another version but, throughout history, "exclusive" titles have gone multi-plat. This includes titles from Capcom that they publicly stated weren't going to other consoles. Imagine how I felt when I saw Genesis gamers getting a version of Street Fighter II or PlayStation gamers getting Resident Evil 4 or Mass Effect 1!
I'm getting this game on PS4 but, when it comes to "exclusivity", stranger things have happened.

This is also a game with a season pass. Maybe a year from now it will be SFV GOTY Edition with Season Pass. Capcom will look for an excuse to sell this game at a higher price down the road, just wait.

Capcom's only game that went Multiplataform was Resident Evil 4, i don't know the history, but this is just a exception, they will not make other version of the game for other plataform.
When there was only Sega, and Nintendo, Nintendo, had policys like this "If anyone release a game on my console, cannot release on other console" because of that Sega's consoles did not received Third Party support, from a lot of companies that would make a lot of Franchises Third Party.
