Nothing wrong with feminism in its original form.
People are making a lot of bizarre claims on behalf of the word as of late, though.

That has to be a joke article I'd say? Like ebay would have no reason to release information regarding it's users genders to a magazine if you think about it, your Gender I don't think is even a part of the ebay account creation. (it could be mine is around 5-10 years old now)
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Good piece.
One of the reasons she gave that caught my eye...
"I agree with Ayaan Hirsi Ali that western feminism needs to stop focusing on 'trivial bullshit.' I don't have a huge amount of sympathy for women who feel traumatised and excluded by scientists' shirts or video games."
I support feminism. I oppose feminazism.
I love women and embrace what they truly are, our perfect other half. I oppose the current state of feminzazism that encourages a victim hood mentality and a constant combative stance against anything based in masculinity in our culture. I also find the current movement working to make men into beta males with no spine and no foundation based on traditional male traits because anything other than that reality means the strict subjugation of women to be as repugnant a message that exist in today's world.

Yeah, I think it's rather difficult for someone who's suffered FGM, to give one iota of a shit about a shirt, or video games.
I think everyone should have the same opportunities in life, and in modern western countries this has widely been achieved.
The thing is, that modern feminism has moved past the point of equal opportunities and begins to demand to be catered to for no reason and without any effort from their side.
Men have been fighting amongst each other for their place in the world for a long time.
Equal opportunity means women can enter that battlefield, it does not mean they can just demand to be lifted to the top because they think they should be there.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
When i see people like anita sarkeesian talk about woman rights in gaming then i really do not relate that to feminism, for me shes the product of a spoiled society and could do more meaningfull things for woman.
Sexism in gaming exist,we cant deny that but its just pixels targetted at a certain audience and western games are evolving for the better without the need for nitpickers like sarkeesian.
I do not hate her but i dislike it when she uses the word feminism as a fake shield.
I don't think there's a need for feminism in developed countries.
Feminism doesn't really mean anything in the west anymore. It's not a single coherent belief system. It's far more like a religion like christianity at this point, with all of its little denominations that focus on various different things. Some of those denominations are great, some are average and benign, and of course some are batshit insane hate groups who're largely based on trying to ruin men's lives.
Just ditch the word I say. Talk about specific issues. No need for a belief system.
Feminists only want equality when it suits them. If they were on a sinking ship they'd be the first ones insisting 'women and children first on the lifeboats'.
