Baten Kaitos
TOS and Paper Mario. Actually, I played longer TOS and had much more fond memories. I finished Paper Mario in one go. Cracking game !
Baten Kaitos and its prequel are actually my favourite RPGs of all time. There's still nothing I've played that evokes quite the same mood those games do.
Skies of Arcadia, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Tales of Symphonia were all excellent, too.
Lost Kingdoms and Lost Kingdoms II weren't on the same level as the above games, but I did enjoy their battle systems (especially in the second game, where it was polished up a bit).
Tales of Symphonia - Was a beast of a JRPG and was the first time a Tales game made it to Europe.
Paper Mario TTYD - Best PM game in the series
Baten Kaitos - Quite tactical and taxes your improvisation and quick thinking in it's battle system, VA's were something that really needed better work though.
Skies of Arcadia Legends - Quite under appreciated tbh
Phantasy Star Online Ep 1&2 - Must have sunk hours into the co-op with my brother and friends.
Fire Emble - Slick as always.
Paper Mario TTYD and Skies of Arcadia are my favorites.

Yes, because we certainly need to point out the list of PS4 RPGs on a thread about Gamecube games ¬_¬

The thing is... Nintendo need to get 3rd party back.
No two ways about it. Its consoles have to few RPGs in general on them.
This thread made that really clear, a console haveing less than 20 games of a genre really isnt a good place to be.

I have no idea why PS4 got dragged into this. But back in the GCN days RPGs were still a niche genre. It wasn't until CoD with their level up system happened that we started to see RPG elements in other genres.
