You're the one saying nintendo won't start a new smash development untill they are done with dlc for the previous one, wich can't be more wrong.

Pure facts are that nintendo starts a new smash with every new console.

Again, it's the biggest smash ever, SO WHAT? "we want see new game for couple of years" what is that sentence supposed to mean? Makes no sense to port a game that's already there when a simple rerelease with all content gets the job done. Not only you're lying about everybody here agreeing with you, that wouldn't be an argument if true. The majority believing something doesn't bear relevance to how right or wrong something is.

-Like I wrote, "Why would you support your current game so long and make it biggest game in series if you already working on new game!? No, Nintendo is not working on new Smash yet."

-On Wii we had Smash Bros. 2 year after launch of Wii, on Wii U we had Smash also two years after Wii U launch, and now you expecting we will have launch Smash launch title on NX even this year will be only 2 years after previous game or next year only 3 years after previous game. It doesnt make any sense.

-I already wrote,  you just need to read "biggest Smash game ever and we want see new game for couple of years, it makes very sense to port it to NX (same like Zelda), for everybody on this thread except probably you, so who is having more sense you or almost everybody else here!?"

And no, I dont lying at all, go through thread and see how many people think that this a is a new game and how many people thinks its a Wii U port. No need to lie yourself.

Yet AGAIN, WHY NOT? Making a few dlc for one gave has no relation with developing a new one.

On wii and 3ds/wii u, smash bros didn't take 3 years to develop. I do not think we will see smash bros at launch but it is totally posible since they had 2 years, it's just more probable for a new smash to release late 2017. For you it might not make sense but numbers and economics don't lie.

You probably wrote wrong, I suppose your "we want see new game for couple of years" was meant as "we WON'T see new game for next couple years". In that case, it's just your wishful thinking that a new smash won't come anytime soon, because nothing is stoping it from happening. A port for a game that's already there will always remain as a terrible and redundant option.

I don't even need to go through half of the first page to find someone agreeing with me.

I already wrote, no need to repeat all again. We certainly will not see new Smash Bros in 2016/2017. and this is very likely (same like OP and huge of majority of people thinks).

Couple of years in this case means 3-4 years.

I would be very surprised if you would find only 3 post in whole thread that are saying that this is a new Smash game.

DLC content being included in later for "free" in re-rereleases is fairly common industry practise.

Some people just want to be mad at everything.

If it's a port of Smash 4 it should have all the content for one price.

People who bought it earlier didn't get "screwed", they got to play the game 1-2 years early so enough with the crying.

They put way too much work and content into the game to have it enjoyed by such a tiny userbase. This just makes sense. I suggested a "Smash All-Stars" type thing where maybe Melee + Brawl could also be included with upgraded graphics, but Smash 4 alone would work too.

Mario Maker 2.0 will get similar treatment I think.

Small? Game is going to over 13mil unless your counting only wiiu which defeats your point.

The console version didn't develop itself for free or overnight, Nintendo has every right to want to sell that version to a much wider audience.

OK and your point? The game still sold over 12mil.

Edit: it's one budget  not separate ones. That said the dlc probably alone paid for the development of both games lol. They made a ton of money already. And besides you act like ssb4 on wiiu doing 5mil lifetime is bad

And it's gonna do way more than 5m. I think he didn't even notice the huge contradiction from his previous statements.

Even though I can see them porting Smash to NX mainly because of how involved it is in tournaments the console version has massed almost 5m and will likely on Wii U alone hit around 6-7m. The game paid for itself long ago.

Exactly. 3ds versions first quarter (was at 3mil ish) already made them money alone (including expenses/etc) And that said 5mil minimum is huge.

I can see both games finishing at 16mil total (6mil wiiu and 10mil 3ds)

On top of that if an NX port is coming and a launch title at that it'll add on at least 3mil more. (depends on a number of factors tbh)

I have

Smash (N64) - 5.55 million

Smash Melee (GCN) - 7.41 mill

Smash Brawl (Wii) - 11 mill

Smash U - 4.05 mill (as of Oct 2015)

http://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Smash_Bros.

Nintendo has plenty of reason to want to release the Wii U version on NX. Looking at that list, I'd say a good 2-3 million reasons at least.

On this very site Smash Wii U is at 4.7m, I'm in the camp that NX will release Q4 but even by then the console version of S4 will be at around 6m easy. I can see them porting the game for more sales and competitive tournaments yes but the game paid for itself long ago even if you took away the 3DS sales.
