4chan is a shithole. NeoGaf is a close second.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

If you get offended by random comments on the internet, you seriously need to rethink your priorities in life. The comments on most of those sites are good for the lulz every now and then.

I'm more offended when sites tries to curb comments or discussions so that only the point of view they wish to push is represented. This often happens on partisan political sites and blogs, and lately it's also been occurring in real life on American college campuses for example, like that professor who just got charged with assault when she got in the face of a student reporter and called for "more muscle" to help her remove the reporter from filming and documenting one of the many "black lives matter" protests...

Stuff like that offends me far more than some random person trolling comments sections for attention or making crude or racist jokes.

That last part catches you out though, I mean in the way you choose to be offended and then tell others not to is you trying to get your side represended mroe in telling others what to do or sort their lives out.

Really it just reminds me of this:

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Youtube is probably the worst forum/comment section because everyone uses it youtube and it's not moderated. It's the perfect bridge for a troll.

I'm not telling anyone what to do, if someone gets "triggered" by every little thing they see on the internet that's their problem, not mine.  And you're preaching to the choir with that quote.  It better suits the perpetually offended whiners out there who try to shut down any speech or opinions they disagree with in the name of "equality", "social justice" and other such bs.

As for "choosing" what to be offended by, what affects you as a person more... a random comment on a website, or someone actively infringing on your 1st amendment rights (if you live in the US of course) because you don't hold the same views they do?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I know but in the end I am just pointing out to you that you fall under what you say others do when you claim to being offended, when you choose to be offended at say your first amendment but not the other while also saying what others are or aren't offended by then really you're equally picking and choosing and we're all pretty guilty of this. The whole point of his quote was to just not be offended , as in stop choosing or just being offended in general, that was his shutdown.

I don't get offended but reddit and 4chan are terrible

Reddit is becoming horrible r/worldnews r/ europe r/videos have started to censor major news storys

Neogaf is a shithole ran by the most SJW progressive mods on the internet. wrongthink will get you banned. its also the only gaming forum on the internet that takes Anita Sarkeesian seriously. The only thing gaf has going for them is its user count

I am virtually impossible to offend.
But youtube comments just make me wish for a cleansing of the gene pool.

High quantities of "shitposts" are essential in making forums entertaining. As are the "offended" posters desperately attempting to bring reason to the discussion. Places with relatively low moderation such as 4chan, reddit and youtube thrive largely thanks to trolls and genuine imbeciles keeping things interesting.

To answer your question, whichever website has the most moderation (and thereby is more keen on subjectively censoring certain content and discussions) offends me more.

Youtube comments are generally cancer. Reddit is actually good whenever I happen to stumble upon it. There's a few idiots, but they're not that bad. Of course I don't use Reddit too much so there's a good chance I don't know about the worse parts of it...
