The game is free. You get what you pay for.

Wait its free?

Maybe I should try it out assuming it comes out in the west.

I have one Amiibo....the smash bros mario :O

According to the OP, yes. Eventually, you'll be able to download this game for free.

I don't think many people caught that.

I honestly don't get what people want. They complain for an amiibo game but when we get one they want anything to do with it. I seriously question what they expect out of any of this.

Anyways last I heard the game is free when you buy an amiibo so really it can't be all that bad.

Totally just throwing out filler titles to ride the Wii U and 3DS into the sunset.

Wow...the instant hate on this small project...

I think its clear that Nintendo is continuing to experiment on their IPs, especially on amiibo. Since its free, it shouldn't be much of an issue compared to amiibo festival. Plus, the list of amiibos that can be used is pretty large and mostly focuses on the Mario line and DK, which are considered to be the more common ones (unless I'm wrong).

Who knows, they are probably still trying to figure out how to integrate amiibo as a centerpiece of a game. But wow...the hate is real (at least in the forums).

Remember when Nintendo making a shit game was practically unheard of?

Now this, Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash have all arrived within a 3 month period. How the mighty have fallen.

All it really shows me is that they have their minds elsewhere working on other things (plus trying to find uses for the amiibo that people keep clamoring for).

Call me when they pull a Konami then we can talk about "how the mighty have fallen".

Not sure I'd put this game next to Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash. This game is free according to the OP.

Whatever the case, Nintendo can't wait to just dump their current hardware and move onto the NX.

Three garbage games in as many months from a company that used to have an immaculate record is already a fall.

It may not be a very good amiibo specific game, but it's a start... Maybe we can see something better down the line.
