Handheld consoles have very crappy attach rates in general (DS sold less software than any of the 7th gen home consoles, Vita already 20 millions behind the Wii U in terms of software, PSP sold less than 300M total in software...), so comparing it to the 3DS is probably not the best way to go

Honestly feel this way too... PS1 & PS2 gens where great, and PS4 is looking to be another one like it.

Theres more creativity & genre diversity, and more JRPGs & RPGs in general :)
