Yeah, the concept of Zelda 2 is great! It's a bit of a shame that Nintendo didn't revisit it the same way Konami did with Castlevania after the massive failure of Castlevania 2. Zelda 2 in comparison was much better accepted at the time than Castlevania 2.

I feel like side scrolling just doesn't fit the series!

Ours are pretty similar! I don't think I've truly played 1 enough yet to love it.

Man I got Zelda 1 remembered by heart. Its so rewarding to memorize that game then play it in front of your friends who think its hard and not die once.
