Besides, motion control has very limited uses, whereas with VR game development can stick to old concepts (OR comes with a 3D plattformer if you haven't noticed) and even revitalize genres/franchises. And like i mentioned...

Many of you still haven't grasped how deep VR/AR has set their roots. It's not going away. Deal with it.

 

Of course VR is here for good, but how long do you think developers of games are going to stick around when their games development cost more than the profit earned if every single person with this headset buys it? Maybe in 3 or 4 years it's going to be a viable platform though.

Excuse me for not knowing what with the gearing of Sony, the avatar, the sig, the gap. (checking your profile doesn't tell me anything PC wise besides a PS profile and your sig and everything else don't really tell me anything either, first time you've let me know without anything else tbh).

I'm not worked up at all, I'm just a bit bored of seeing the same song and dance time and time again, makes me wonder why people on here don't just finish the final note and get it over with, it's almost like people elude singing the last note due to possible judgement being cast down, maybe that's why we're seeing all but the last note being sung per recital.

You're far from chilled attacking posters on the assumption they have vendetta aginist x platform people can have an opinion on a product platform that's negative without them baselessly bashing it. By you a person needs an id detailing all platforms they enjoy.

I didn't actually know anything about him even gaming on a PC at all because he made no prior mention at all and most people have some form of platform id from their avatar to their sig to their profile, that's the nrom on most other forums as well.

Actually i changed my mind. I didnt know it had 2 screens and came with xbox controller, headset and camera. Still kinda expensive though.

I don´t know, if all of that stuff is really included but somebody broke down the 600$ pricetag to this:
$60 - Xbox One Controller
$25 - Xbox Wireless Adapter
$95 - Tracking Camera
$30 - Oculus Remote
$60 - Eve Valkyrie
$30 - Lucky's Tale
$300 - Oculus Rift headset
If this is true or somewhat close then Oculus/Facebook seriously fucked up this launch...How bout nope to xbox controller? nope to wireless adapter? nope to eve? nope to lucky´s tale? Hell even the Camera isn´t neccessary...
