No but maybe they could release a port of splatoon at 1080 60 fps and people that have bought splatoon for wii u get like 50% off the digital version or something like that.

i don´t believe it, i think in Zelda U, Pikmin, Pokemon Z and Animal crossing like NX launch titles

I'd rather things not be rushed which would be one of my fears.

Well, I suppose it would be a good launch title game and could potentially be a system seller, at least in Japan. I dunno if they would have the time to make a significantly improved 2. Plus, the first game still has plenty of life in it.

I think Splatoon is a little bit of a different type of franchise in that it doesn't need to have 100% of its content ready on day 1.

The other thing is a lot of people will not have had a chance to play Splatoon 1 because they won't have owned a Wii U, so including all the Splatoon 1 levels and content makes sense.

Add 7 new arenas + 2 new battle modes + new single player mode, and then bring another 6-7 stages as time goes on, that would be fine I think.

The game can grow/expand as the NX goes on, and for people who are coming into the NX without a Wii U, it's going to be a treat with a ton of back content for them to already play.

I think it would be too soon especially if the game is being released in 2016 or 2017.. :/

Releasing Splatoon 2 only year and half after first game!? No, definitely too early, also I dont think they can complete new game is such short time if we know they worked on post launch content. Worst case would be to rush second game after great reception of first game.
Holiday 2017. would be great if they can finish till then.

Would be 1 1/2 years after the first game, and they would still have another 6-12 months to continue to release additional content, so basically the game would be finished 2- 2 1/2 years after the first one. 

To me that would work and would ensure a strong launch in the Japanese market. Keep in mind too I think this is a bit of a special case in that a lot of people will not have gotten a chance to play the game because the Wii U has such a small userbase. 

In the same way I think Mario Maker should be very early in the NX life cycle too. 

Mario Kart 9 can be fall 2017. I'd try to go like this personally
