I think Splatoon is a little bit of a different type of franchise in that it doesn't need to have 100% of its content ready on day 1.

The other thing is a lot of people will not have had a chance to play Splatoon 1 because they won't have owned a Wii U, so including all the Splatoon 1 levels and content makes sense.

Add 7 new arenas + 2 new battle modes + new single player mode, and then bring another 6-7 stages as time goes on, that would be fine I think.

The game can grow/expand as the NX goes on, and for people who are coming into the NX without a Wii U, it's going to be a treat with a ton of back content for them to already play.
