Everything does decent except for the PS3. PS3 is never going to get Japanese support like this.

terrible drop for PS3, and right after a big game came out. I can see PS3 sell below 10k in a couple of weeks.

Jeez. PSP software is horrible. Who cares if the hardware sells? It's like the Gamecube in reverse. 3 PSP games versus 27 DS games? NINE to ONE in favor of DS? What the hell are people even buying PSP's FOR?

I'd say at this point they should probably either De-list the PSP as a "games console" because of the users obvious disinterest in said games, or start listing cellphones. It's embarrassing to have the PS3 sell so low (Worse then GameCube) but it might be more embarrassing to sell twice as much hardware as the Gamecube and still sell less games.

PSP very high in hardware and horrible in software, PSP not is a game console.
PS3 can dig his grave, is practically dead in Japan.

PS3 is unbelievable low.So the next 'savior' in Japan is MGS4.PlayStation brand,how low can you go? :(

PS3 is more targeted towards the Western world: European and American audience. The Japanese do not care much for HD gaming they rejected the American console now they are rejecting the PS3 that is becoming a Western console.
BTW Off Topic Grand Theft Auto series is developed by a UK company it is not an American developer who make GTA games.

No question that PS3 hardware is in trouble - it was right on the week where it dropped from 40k (DMC4?) to 20k - just one week later.

The PS2 will be outselling it again within a couple of weeks.

In fact (#@$@!) - there are only THREE PS3 titles in the top#50!!!!!!!!!!

(DMC4 squeaks in at #50 - it was only released, what - 4 weeks ago??)
(Winning Post at #35 on debut)
(and Yakuza holding onto #2 on week#2...)

PSP software is positively CHEERFUL by comparison :P.

The Wii has 10 titles in the top#50, which is dominated by the DS (as usual).

Don't worry, Konami already has a master plan to save the PS3 in Japan... It involves releasing MGS4 at a high price.

The PS3 is in serious trouble, especially when compared to the PS2.
