Which one is the better film?

Star Wars The Force Awakens 100 45.05%

Guardians of the Galaxy 92 41.44%

I hate this kind of films. 1 0.45%

Sometimes when I am drunk... 2 0.90%

Both sucked... 9 4.05%

I am Groot! 18 8.11%

Total:222

We now can have a cross over movie thanks to Disney owning both franchises lol

No "they were both good" option?

There's nothing implied about saying one has to be good and the other bad though, just which one you prefer or think is better. :)

I polled that one and people weren't very enthusiastic at the idea:

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I'm a much bigger fan of the MCU movies. So I liked GotG better than SWtFA in pretty much all respects.

Let me clarify: I think they are both equally as good.

I want a Guardians sequel where Star-Lord fights a Sith-Lord with a saber like he did in the original comic back in 1976 when it was revealed that the Sith-Lords master was his uncle and the emperor is father.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

Both were bad but the story was a bit better in Star Wars.

1) Story - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

2) Special effects - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

3) Interesting characters - Guardians of the Galaxy

4) Better acting - Guardians of the Galaxy

5) Funnier jokes - Guardians of the Galaxy

6) Surprises - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

7) Leaving you with a better feeling of satisfaction after seeing it - Guardians of the Galaxy

8) Which of the two are you looking forward for it's sequel - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I agree with all of this.

1) Story: GotG (Force Awakens is too much of a rehash)

2) Special effects: Force Awakens, especially some of those practical bits

3) Interesting characters: GotG, but it was close.

4) Better acting: Force Awakens, but also close.

5) Funnier jokes: GotG

6) Surprises: Force Awakens

7) Leaving you with a better feeling of satisfaction after seeing it: GotG (once again Force Awakens's story hurt it)

8) Which of the two are you looking forward for it's sequel: Force Awakens.

I was playing around, only if it was an off-shoot, non canon story, would it be ok IMHO.
