Star Wars is set in a galaxy far far away, and they should keep it that way. A crossover serves no purpose, neither franchise need it

If they ever did it I'd want it to just be a one and done thing which wouldn't be the case.

I don't want this film to be a REAL part of either timeline. I would rather they make a "what if" kinda film where the two universes clash then you see The Avengers, Guardians, Jedi, and whoever the galactic government is now (not rebels anymore I'm guessing since they won) vs. New Empire and Thanos and the other main MCU villains. That would be epic. The Milano in a dogfight with Slave 1 and the Millenium Falcon, me blasting planetary droids and storm troopers, Hulk smashing an ATAT, Luke slicing up Chitauri or Skrulls! It would be really cool if they could come into contact somewhere before episode 1 and you could see Qui-Gon, Yoda, Mace, and the other Jedi Masters fighting with them and Sideous attacking the Marvel heroes. They could just say the Marvel universe people are immune to force powers or at least resistant to them since they're from a different dimension. They would come through a wormhole as they were fighting Thanos I'm thinking who then joins up with Palpatine.
