I mean they're releasing two games vs. one and getting even more casual so probably. I personally hope the two games thing fails horribly so that Nintendo knows not to split a game in two just because they can, but I don't want the game to fail as a whole. So I'm in this middle zone of somehow hoping one version sells well and the other bombs somehow (which won't happen given the FEnatics out there will buy or will have bought all three campaigns immediately).

Well according to VGChartz Awakening sold 1.75m (not sure if there is some confirmed data sales from Nintendo)
I can see it doing 2mil already.

Well people who buys one copy will buy the other 2 stories digitally. Sooooo im not sure if that gives a total of 3 copies sold, or they just acts as dlcs. 

Awakening beat 2m sales hasn't it? I'm honestly expecting a shit ton of sales. Maybe even 3m.

Will definitely surpass 1M, but that is due to having 2 games, which I'm still annoyed about..

If I recall, Nintendo had it at 1.79 million at the end of December of last year. VGChartz had it at 1.49 million at the end of last year.
So if that's true, than I'd assume it's closing in on 2.2 million worldwide right now. (Nintendo's 1.79 + the .26 that VGChartz added this year + whatever digital sales that were added this year.)
