I thought the same, but someone told me that Machina is taking care only of the software numbers.

Is that so? Sharing the load is the clever way to go, and the up to date charts prove it.

Well, that's what tak told me. I'm not too surprised if that's indeed true!

Well, just in case, we know who to blame for misinformation.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

PS4 and XB1 comfortably outselling the 3DS. I guess handhelds really are dying, rest in reeses pieces.

Crazy how good 360 and PS3 keep selling, all things considered. Those two machines were truly beasts of their era.

What's the Wii U boost from?

Currently most hyped for: FFXV and Zelda U

And the numbers have finally catched up! Good job, ioi.

Actually, unless I missed a recent episode on the VGChartz TV Drama, ioi isn't doing the charts thingy anymore but Machina.

I thought the same, but someone told me that Machina is taking care only of the software numbers.

Yep this is true. Don't forget that software tracking is a much harder work than hardware tracking.

Splatoon bundle.

Sony should do something for PSV in USA, then it could enjoy its little niche without worries. Better sales in USA (while obviously keeping at least the current ones, or even bettering them, in Japan, Europe and rest of the world) could finally persuade Capcom to make or port a few major titles for it, including a new Monster Hunter Freedom.

eh? Coming second place?

Globally is way more important, beaten every month since launch. Xbox is a failure outside of NA and always will be.

In the long run I'm guessing X1 may sell 15 million units outside the US. I'm not saying that's amazing numbers, but not a failure.

X1 is going to have a bigger userbase in Europe than Vita in the near future and they are getting there is less time. I only mention that because people say Vita does well in Europe.

Vita is done in the US. They would have to rebrand it revive any interest. And frankly I don't think Sony wants to spend the money.

Vita is the epitome of flop in the US. Nintendo owns the mobile market in the US and Sony is saving money by letting Nintendo have it.
