literally nothing points to that. Maybe some strange guys on vgchartz who don't have any economic sense but nothing else.

Literally nothing?  Except for the fact that the Wii U is selling terribly and Nintendo needs to replace it ASAP if they want to be making big profits again.  Also, Nintendo has just been producing shovelware recently for the Wii U to make fill up time for the NX launch.  And the fact that Square Enix said that Dragon Quest XI will be making its way to the NX, which has a release date planned for 2016.  Notice how Nintendo has kept quiet about any games being planned for late 2016 for Wii U and 3ds.  It's because there is nothing planned for that time, except for Zelda U which will most likely be cross-gen.  Everything for late 2016 will be on NX.  Nintendo also said that they would be announcing the NX next year and nowadays consoles come out the year they are announced typically, such as the PS4 and Xbox One which were released 9 and 6 months after they were announced respectively.  The NX will be announced early to mid-2016 and be released late 2016.  I could no go on for longer, but this is obvious bait and idc about discussing anymore.  I can understand being skeptical about the NX launch next year, but to say there is literally nothing which hits to it coming next year is kind of foolish.

You do know that DQXI was never confirmed as a NX game?

And yeah the next generation handheld will be revealed in early 2016 and released in late 2016. But we won't see the next generation home console in 2016. That's a save bet. And from where do you you take the info that Zelda is probably Cross-Gen? Nothing points to that.

And has Nintendo talked about amiibo Festival and Ultra Smash last year at this time? No. Has Nintendo talked about Tri Force Heroes, Paper Jam Bros., Happy Home Designer and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon last year at this time? No.

So, I don't see why you conclude from "Nintendo hasn't announced late 2016 Wii U and 3DS games" that NX is coming in 2016...

And btw, Nintendo never said they'll announce NX in 2016. They just that they will talk more about it.

So, maybe you should rather get your facts right instead of sharing lies on this forum ;)

Don't know about other countrys, but I got it for $250, and of the 14 retail games I currently have for it some were obtained for cheap or for free, and they've given me hundreds of hours of enjoyment, with hundreds more still to come, so yeah, I'm happy with it overall.

You're very easy to please then. When I buy a console, I get hundreds of games for it over the time I own it. I enjoy many thousands of hours of gameplay on it. I expect that with any console I buy.

Maybe you are very easy to please, to enjoy so many games released on a single console. I'm yet to buy a console that have 3 digits of game that I want to play

Ummm...yeah... you have that backwards. i bought a console to play hundreds of games that I might like versus you buying a console just to play less than 50 games that you might like but yet you're happy with it because of that. *shakes head*

Thousands of hours of enjoyable gameplay vs hundreds of hours of enjoyable gameplay? Hmmm, that's a difficult choice.

This argument is just as sad as actually having enough time and money to play hundreds of games for thousands of hours lel. Course I'm not one to talk, I've put in over 1,000 hours in Mario Kart 7 and New Leaf alone. But anyway how many hours one gets out of their games is up to the player, the number of games isn't the biggest factor. I could play Splatoon for as long as you play your hundreds of games, but I don't because I ain't got no time for that, not because I'm easy to please. If I was I'd have a PS4 already.

Well, I don't need to play a game to know that I will not like it. I have game genres that I despise, so I can pass them with no hard fellings. Game genres that i love I know that will pass many hours plugged.

And I am not limited by numbers to measure my level of satisfaction

It's easy to sink many hours into almost any multiplayer game regardless if it's COD or splatoon but you will eventually get burnt out just playing a handful of multiplayer games. The more the merrier. 4 good games is always less than 8 good games. 100 hours of quality fun gameplay is always less than 500 hours of quality fun gameplay. Your "less is more" logic is flawed. If you reply with more of the same, just reread this post. Anyway, have a good saturday.

Cheezy cop out much? Unless you can somehow prove that one can't play a single game for as long as another plays 100 games when both are given the same amount of time to do so, then there's nothing wrong with my logic. It's simply a matter of how much time you have and how much of it you're willing to spend playing videogames. But yeah have a good saturday, whatevs! As I already pointed out this argument was flawed to begin with because the root of it implys the average gamer plays hundreds of games for thousands of hours per console which is laughably false.

Guys remember...
Wii U Holiday 2015 was planned to include Zelda U and Star Fox Zero

Currently most hyped for: FFXV and Zelda U

Regardless, you would be happier with more games that you find enjoyable than with less games that you found enjoyable. Numbers matter. Let's say if gen this ended right now and no more games were released, would you be satisfied with your console purchase as is it stands now? If you say yes then you're easy to please (there's nothing really wrong with that but companies would very much like you as a costumer).

I buy a console with the expectation that I'll get to play a good amount of games that I would like before the gen ends. If my expectation is not met, I'm a not a happy camper with my purchase or with company that I bought the product from. The key phrase is "games that I would like". That doesn't mean I would be happy with hundreds of shovelware or 50 good games instead of 100 good games.

True, though I'm not seeing what you're getting at in regards to this thread. =/
