This is the first mainline Halo with Day One digital. I know a ton who got it that way. Maybe this is why MCV wants digital numbers from publishers.
Halo 5 did great in general terms, but performed badly against previous entries. Digital sales certainly won't change that. Will be interesting to see if the same decline is seen elsewhere, and if there is any PR from MS about software sales and hardware boosts.

It's getting more and more obvious that sales also have to be tracked digitally to tell the whole story of sales. Not only Xbone but the whole generation, in my opinion, is lacking digital numbers in sales.

Halo 5 did 25k ish more then Titanfall. I guess having so many FPS is having an effect.
