Weak sales. Can't say I'm surprised, though, but let's hope legs carry the game for some time. It might set up to be one of the worst-selling Halo games ever, though with this franchise you might never know (like how Halo 4, despite everything, ended up being one of the best-selling ones).

 

Which makes me wonder if Halo is coming to an end, as a gaming franchise.

Honestly I hope it doesn't have legs. FPS is a overcrowded genre.

It'd be nice to see new IP's in different genres take off like Quantum Break or Scalebound.

Honestly I do hope it does. FPS isn't really that much overcrowded; and if that means getting more Metro-like games or The Talos Principle, then I'm willing to endure franchises like Call of Duty selling twenty million per entry.
