I honestly don't know how anyone can complain. It's a 15, but really 13, year old girl for God's sake. If you are really that bothered about this...I dunno what to say. Are you really not going to buy the game because of commonsense? This is no way censorship. Sorry, guys.

She looks scarier I guess :-p

15 years old you say!?!

wait what's the problem?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

That's exactly how it works. It there's consequences for altering a game to a publishers wants, then there's no deterrent from them doing it. While the slippery slope is a fallacy, it happens in real life and we have very good examples of it happening in the games industry.

Also, you're agreeing with someone who thinks any female who wears a swimsuit is a giant slut. Just FYI.

What a way to discredit my opinion, by saying a lie, I have never said that. I said that the main character on Fatal Frame looks like a slut in the sexy clothes of the japanese version, but is all because of context, a female with almost erotic underwear on a mountain infected with ghosts in the middle of the night in a game with a very dark story is meant to look like a slut, because is completely out of context and the only purpose is to fap with it. And I'm not necessarily against that tbh, but in that comment I was pointing that it was not a big deal to lose that sexy outfit.

In this case, however, I´m against it, because this girl is (and looks like) a 13 years old girl and I feel is disgusting , so I think they should remove it. It is not confirmed anyways but I hope they do.

Not a lie. I quoted your own post when you did it. You said that outfit was dressing like a giant slut. I won't continue this convo as we'll just go in circles and nothing can be gained from it.

This doesn't effect my interest at all in the game, but it absolutely is censorship. They're altering the game because they don't want backlash or poor press. Nintendo as a whole hold no high moral ground as they paid for this product to be made in the first place. Calling it localization is completely dishonest.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

this is BS and censorship and you know it, She doesnt look 13 and all what they could have done is just increasing her age at 18, it wouldnt be a big deal. But they didnt, they increase her age at 15 and changed the outfit.

Also i was the one predicting it

She looks very 13, dude. Even 12.

You must be kidding me. To me she easily looks +/- 18. That's not a childish physique, that's a body of a woman.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Oh, what a tragedy! I won't be able to sleep at night.

Guys. STFU if you think Nintendo is stupid for censoring this.
This is completely fine to censor those costumes for the west.

For Fatal Frame, that's a different story because it was already rated M. So therefore it should not have been censored. This will be rated T though, so censorship is 100% fine. Especially in this case.

If you are upset by this you need to seek help..

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

It's just not necessary and it's sexualizing women too much. Like, we get it. Women have breasts and some men do too! Yeah, I just went there. But seriously though, we get it. It's old and stale and I'm quite tired of seeing it. Just how I feel. But Nintendo could be the bigger person and allow people to view what they wish to view. Do we have to go through Mortal Kombat II all over again Nintendo? Just put the stupid Teen + ESRB on it and call it a day. Shesssh.

I get that this is a heated argument, but I'm seeing the responses getting more and more personal.

Let's just take a breath and talk about dressing up 13 year olds in skimpy bathing suits like adults.

...

...

I'll see myself out.

I do not like any kind of censorship, especially if it destroys a piece of art. It is very sad that because of different cultural standards in the US the game gets censored in Europe as well. Especially regarding nudity and child nudity these standards vary widely. In the summer, young children are often running around half naked here and nobody is offended by that and there is no sexuality involved at all. It is just a different culture that should be respected.

But once again, the screenshot does not say very much, you can only tell the amount of censorship if you remove all the equipment.

On the other hand Xenosaga and the original Xenoblade were uncensored and nobody cared. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ayC4ITDGhkk#t=700
