Zelda for Wii U was only shown twice, once at E3 2014 and again in late 2014. That 2011 tech demo was nothing more than a tech demo.

I really don't see the debate here. Of course it's coming to wii u! And also to NX.
The game simply got delayed because they still haven't figured out how to name it :P

are you really serious? i mean REALLY?

Agreed. WIth a 90+ meta review, it should have no issue sellinmg 5 million+. IMO. If they decide to port it to the NX lkater on, good for them, but skipping the WiiU would make them loose serious sales and fan trust.
Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Why would he said that that game wasnt moving on NX, when its Wii U game!? Because they said they showing only games that are coming in near future, almost every Zelda was delayed. There is literally nothing that only indicates that Zelda U will will be NX exclusive, but in other hand all still point that is coming on Wii U. |
That didn't stop them from showing Zelda before. Nintendo stopped showing Zelda because they're not going to show a game that has been upgraded for the NX before they unveil the new console.
That is pretty much as much indication as you can get outside of an official announcement, which is coming likely early in the coming year. The Wii U flopped, they're not going to waste Zelda on it. No one wants it on an outdated Wii U that no one owns, we want it as a launch title on NX when it releases next Christmas.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
Uh huh. Just like Twilight Princess still came out on the GameCube.

Yes. same thing happened with The Last Guardian. they never said it was a PS4 game until they revealed it. same thing could happen with this Zelda.

There are some huge differences, Nintendo announced Zelda for Wii U basically on launch of Wii U, many people buying Nintendo console only for Zelda. Second, Zelda U will be launched next year (its was supposed to be launched this year and we saw gameplay that is running on Wii U), so game is almost finished and it will be released on both WiiU and NX, on other hand, Last Guardian for PS3 was basically stopped in middle of development and now it will arrive on PS4 next year in 3rd year of console life. Third, Nintendo isn't exactly Sony, they usually keep their promises especially when such a big projects are in question.
This is all over again TP situation, I don't see why people thinking otherwise when they dont have any reason for that.

You can't be so sure. Zelda still "TBD" in official FY2015 Q2 results.
