I still do. I love open world and they're one of the few that get the freedom aspect right. I like the lore and want to know how it continues. Haven't played ACU yet but I hope I can find some time this year.

Also AC2 was shit compared to Brotherhood :P

Agreed on all points.

I got ACU free with my X1, played the first 2 or 3 missions and got too bored to continue.  Maybe if I beat all the games on my backlog and need something to play Ill pick it up again.

I'll start caring about Assassin's Creed again as soon as Ubisoft does again, instead of only caring about the money. So right now I don't care about the franchise at all.

I hated 1, loved 2, didn't buy Revelations or Brotherhood because they felt like AC2.5 and 2.75.

I really disliked AC3, but loved AC:BF. Was put off Unity with the reviews, but bought it a year later and really enjoyed it.

AC is a mixed bag for me. It is has never been consistent for me to warrant a day one purchase and the yearly release has killed of any interest I would have had for the game as it becomes too much to often. It is almost as if Ubisoft killed the novelty and excitement for it by flooding the market with annual releases. I think Ubisoft would have been far better off doing a year of AC and a year of PoP, giving each dev team enough time to create and polish each game and leave enough time for gamers not to lose interest.

I've stopped caring because I find the gameplay way to monotonous. Stopped playing after Black Flag, although I was burned out a few games before

My interest was gone after they removed the logic puzzles and reduced the platforming exploration sections. Black flag was fun yet I can't stand the follow, listen, don't kill until I say so gameplay, nor the boring modern time sections, nor the glitchy auto climb while running.

The puzzles certainly were very badass in AC2. I think they were some of the best puzzle elements in games I have ever come across, vene making Lara's Tombs look like child's play.

Yes.

The first one I played was Revelations. I liked it.

Then, I played the first one. I liked it too, but not like Revelations.

Well, I had a good time with both games, but I don't think I want to play them all. Overall, I think Ubisoft is milking this franchise too much. Not on COD level, but still...

Nope, not at all.
