Forums - Gaming - What's the quickest you've returned/traded-in a game?

I've never returned a game. In fact I don't think I've been to a store where returning an open game was ever an option.

uhhh...never? lol.

Never. I have never returned a game.

never returned one

Killzone for PS4. Got it at launch because it was suppose to offer free DLC and I wanted to try something other than COD or Battlefront. Within no time, the player count dropped to 2,000 players and I was like... I know where this is going... and returned it.

I don't know what the user count is now, but it's gotta be tiny lol

Though it is definitely not my favorite Zelda, I've never seen it as overrated. Is it highly regarded amongst a lot of people?

Not particularly but any praise is too much for such a mediocre game. It kills me how millions of people play it just because it is Zelda but superior titles from the era get overlooked.

Zelda 2 is one of those games where it's become "cool" to say you like it. You know how that goes. Game X comes out, flops, 10-20 years later, a bunch of hipsters find out about it being a flop and decide they want to be "cool" and "underground" and claim the game is really some misunderstood masterpiece when in reality, it's just not all that great.

Zelda 2 wasn't great when it launched (I am old enough to have played it back then) and it's not great now. It's an ok game, but like the fake US SMB2, it's an odd ball game that doesn't know what the hell it wants to be lol.

Thank god for Miyamoto and co. realizing their error and fixing the formula with ALTTP.

I rarely ever return games, but I did make an exception and returned Skyrim for the PS3 within a week of owning it.

Strange. After all the complaints about the ps3 versi9I I never ran into any major bugs or glitches.

Op: I returned MGS5 to gamefly after about a week and 20 hours in.

The gameplay is good. However everything else is a slap in the face to MGS fans everywhere. No story. Barren lanscapes. No character dialogue. It really isn't a great game. Overrated.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

I bought and was excited for that Indiana Jones game that came out for wii. It turned out to be a giant piece of shit. Luckily I had connections at gamestop and got my money back the next day.

Modern Warfare 2. It's the only CoD I ever bought, and also the only game I ever returned.
