I didn't expect it to be cheap, and at least I have all the extra stuff already, ps4+camera+dual move. Yet for anyone wanting to go in from scratch it will be a big investment. I hope that $550 includes the move and camera and there will be a cheaper headset only option.

The $550 is a bad estimate. I'm not even sure where they got the 350 pound number.

Anything more than $200 means it is a niche product. Which may be ok, if that's what they're aiming for.

Remember when I said VR wouldn't count for shit?

Yeah no thanks. I can't consciously put down $500, even as hyped as I am for VR, on this. Maybe 2 years afterwards, assuming we get a lot of quality developers to get behind it.

Sounds like it's out of my price range then.

"House didn't reveal price"

Here, I'm reading comments from users that this is too expensive, but how? New gaming platform could mean anything from 100$-400$ and I won't believe, that the morpheus (psvr) next year will cost the same as a ps4.

Then it will fail in my opinion.

I don't think the mainstream is going to spend that much for VR. We'll probably find out more at PGW about the price.

So they are Sendung it to die like the vita

Wow o_O
