You're still getting the game, and likely a better version of it. It's just that having to have Star Fox rushed for holiday is not exactly a company priority. Wii U is what it is from a sales POV, it doesn't really matter if Star Fox or Animal Crossing Amiibo Cash-In is the "November 2015" title in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe not, but it would be nice to get at least 15 retail titles too choose from in one year...

No hardware maker releases at least 15 games a year. 3rd parties is what makes that happen.

Hopefully Nintnedo address the issue with NX and get them onboard and I dont mean ith shovelware.

Delay NX?
If it means it gets more power so that it'll be slightly or considerably more powerful than PS4 than sure.

Hah, good luck with that.

You're acting like tech hasn't changed yet, nor will it over the next 2 years, lol. Nor was the PS4 built with the best hardware out at the time. It would be quite easy for the NX to beat the PS4 in power in 2017, all Nintendo would need is the desire to be more powerful.

Thats what I mean. They need more third parties to bump up their line up.

Completely unacceptable. First was Zelda now Starfox.

Nintendo either
-A) once again under estimated the time on HD development
-B) need a game to sell in Q1 2016 as they have nothing planned, or
-C) wanting to release it alongside NX instead

Either way I am incredibly disgusted.

A) The past all HD development problems in Wii U first year.

B) Game in Q1 2016 will nothing change, Star Fox would had much better impact on Wii U sales and sales of game itself in holiday season than in Q1.

C) So you think we are getting NX in Q1!?

D) Most obvious, they need more time to polish game.

this might be the best possible answer. we have a thread about starfox graphics and debated it. for me, i'm not impressed especially Nintendo came into HD and the graphics especially the background graphics and models looks early PS3 designs.  i don't know how big of the jump in terms of graphics they can do but i hope the game would be better.

Not really. Millions of us really like the system and want more games for it. Too bad that we matter so little to Nintendo.

this is true. and someone asked to have more variety to choose which is fine but picking a lot of games which i've done for several months but i can't play them all. :(

and games keep piling on my backlog.  if I were to buy Star Fox, i'll rather wait and get the best HD version of this franchise. and i have ton of hours for other games at the moment and for XCX on that scheduled date so i don't think it really hurts me that much. i know for several hardcore star fox fans they would love it sooner.  but we all know nintendo can't do that due to development issues.  they've provided a video of it e3 2014 and announced at e3 2015 but the game seems way off in a sense for a 2015 game. we all know it also comes with budget, and scope, and i think it ain't AAA title like MK or Smash but they really need to push the standards of the lesser known titles if they wanted other gamers to play that game.

i've mentioned that star fox can be somewhat star wars battlefront, the idea also came from other posters here. not that AAA type, or less of that scale but star fox should aim to be a massive game like that in a sense.

Good news, imo. The game looked like it needed more work anyway.
And if the developer isn't satisfied, they should have more time with it rather than releasing an unfinished product.

Agree completely, it looked fine but probably wouldn't have really wowed anyone. Platinum and Nintendo both can do much better than that. I just think this symbolizes that Nintendo may want one more year out of the console. I think otherwise they would have pushed this out and never looked back.

I don't think the graphics themselves will improve nor do I think they need to, but I do think that there needs to be a LOT more going on in the levels as well as adding better effects for lighting, explosions, sparks, ect. Icing on the cake that Platinum is usually amazing at delivering.

Only Xenoblade Chronicles X as holiday game?
