Good video, but we all know Nintendo hates and ignores indies because they live in the past.

The drought is real, they have to take advantage of this oportunities and promote every game that comes out on the console, indie or not.

They are releasing Super Mario Maker next week dude, they are only supporting an indie game in wich they have faith, they even put the team in contact with all the other developers of popular indie games to include all those characters on Runbow, this was confirmed by the developers.

Except the drought isn't real in this scenario since Super Mario Maker launches next week.

In no way did they have to do this.

And then Star Fox: Zero, Fatal Frame V, Yoshi's Woolly World (for you American peasants), Xenoblade Chronicles X and Fast Racing Neo.

Q4 isn't gonna be a drought for Nintendo, though.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Not to mention the few 3rd party offerings like Lego Dimensions, Skylanders Supercharged, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Just Dance, Guitar Hero Live, Minecraft Story Mode, and then of course there are the black sheep Nintendo games, Amiibo Festival, Devil's Third (NA) and Mario Tennis.

And I do suspect we'll see other 3rd party games being released either this holiday or early next year, like Walking Dead (S1+2), regular Minecraft and whatever that Tantalus port is.

Definitely not a drought.

Do TT Games' games (confusing) get retail releases? I know it's episodic, but maybe after all episodes are out? Just asking because I prefer retail.
