Forums - Nintendo - Star Fox Zero does not require motion controls.

If the motion controls are as good as Splatoon's, I am sure I'll enjoy them.

Cool. Glad they're giving the option. Worked out well in Splatoon. Let those who want it have it and those who don't not.

Thats good, if it was mandatory, it would have been essh

This thread will probably get ignored and people will continue to bitch about Star Fox Zero, just watch!

I could have sworn we were told this at E3 but maybe I just imagined that..

Either way still good to reiterate this once more since I'm sure people still love to use the whole "motion controls= shitty controls" argument when it comes to Nintendo games.

This was told around E3 already.

It will be like Splatoon, you can completely turn them off, or using combination off motion controls and analog sticks, that working very well in Splatoon, so much faster and more accurate aiming.

I thought this was confirmed at E3? Still, reassuring.

It was, but you still have people saying they won't buy the game due to motion controls not only here but on other forums as well.

Well then I can't provide an explanation for that contradiction of the facts. However, what I can say is that with this confirmation and also that which we saw at E3, as well as a little bit of commonsense, it should be clear to everyone that motion controls are optional for this game.

Hopefully...

People just like to take extreme sides because conflict sells.
