There is no way Jim fucking Sterling son gave this game a 9.5 out of 10. Holy balls.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
But...b...but PS4 has no gaemz the rest of this year! Gimme a break! XD
Did not expect these scores though. Was gonna play it anyway, but now I might get it as soon as I finish Witcher 3 (aka very soon).

Yeah, crazy. He absolutely hates Cage games. But he also loves Horror.
Still very good scores

Jim Sterling?? LoL he is biased for horror games but at the same time he usually hates interactive movies, so that´s really surprising, I may have underrated this game a lot.
Going by Games Rankings this should settle just below 80, very surprising, should be a great one to pick up when it's a tad cheaper.
Buying order: Switch, better pc
pokoko said: This is quite the shock. I honestly thought more reviews would hate it because it's atypical. Polygon is Polygon. Anyway, this quote from Gamespot sounds nifty: "My absolute favorite feature of Until Dawn is its use of the DualShock 4 controller's gyroscope feature. Some PlayStation 4 games tend to shoehorn gimmicky uses of the controller's additional features, but Until Dawn uses the gyroscope in a way that's just a little too perfect for the slasher film aesthetic. One command requires you hold the controller still while hiding from an attacker. You are frequently given the option to run or hide; in the latter, if you jostle the controller even a little, you'll be caught, and like every other decision in this game it could mean death. During these segments I began holding my breath--it's the best way to keep that controller still--and it pulled me deeper into the experience." |
That sounds AMAZING!!!
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

On an almost-unrelated note, I consider Nightmare of Elm Street to be one of the greatest pieces of horror cinematography. It's not scary anymore, but I've always found that the sum of its pieces in that movie fit perfectly. And add to it a teenager that - unlike her counterparts in other teen horror movies - was afraid, but at the same time, capable of facing the monster herself.
