I have stated several times in this thread that I'm including 2016 or later.

Then change the title and OP because its misleading

Ninty keeps their cards close to their chest and lets you focus on titles coming up in the near future.

Fire Emblem x SMT was announced over two years ago, still no release date. XCX will have a nearly three year gap between it's announcement and US release date. Zelda U was announced in early 2013, and it's looking at a possibly 4 year+ announcement-to-release gap. Similar situations for Yoshi's Wooly World, Super Smash Bros, Project Guard, Project Giant Robot etc. So i have no idea what you mean by that statement.

Zelda alone is more hypeworthy than the entire 2016 PS4 catalouge (yeah it's coming next year..) Probably why people get hyped I guess. I will probably buy more PS4 games than Wii U games though but nothing compares to Zelda on the PS4 list even combined.

I like zelda as much as the next guy, but we haven't seen much of zelda to actually say it will be a good game. Not only that, but Nintendo is not even confident to place it for 2016, which is why they probably didn't show it for e3.

In terms of comparisons, horizon seems to be a fierce open world competitor as a new colorful AAA ip sporting better graphics allowing for a better world to explore. Maybe zelda will beat horizon, but definitely not horizon, until dawn, and uncharted combined for hype.

When did we actually haver a bad main Zelda game? Oh that's right, it never happend. Ofc it will be good.

Isnt Until Dawn just around the corner? So that would not really count. And in my eyes a new ip (despite it looking awesome) and Uncharted is not enought to take down the Zelda hypetrain for me.

They announced those games and gave us release windows along with them. They thought they could get them out sooner and were incorrect.

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem

Zelda U

Pokken Tournament

Project Treasure

Mighty No. 9 - It's getting published and getting a physical copy, even though it started out as an indie. Which is why I am including this.

Mario & Sonic @ The 2016 Rio Olympic Games (god that's a mouthfull)

Yokai Watch Just Dance (only confirmed for a Japanese release, but it still counts)

Actually pretty excited for next year already. (Even though I would only get the top 4 on this list) Can't wait to see what else gets revealed. :)

In the USA we Are getting Devils 3rd at the very beginning of the year (atleast according to gamestop).

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

Most of those didn't come with any release windows. Does it matter tho? It proves Ninty is no better than Square or some other developers as far as announcing games too early is concerned. Remember the Skyward Sword fiasco? Yeah.

When did we get a seamless open world zelda, or an HD Mainline zelda game? That's right, never. The game may be good, but I am not gonna say so on blind faith alone. There are many ways Nintendo can fuck up Zelda and until they show more footage, I will be skeptical

uncharted 4 and horizon on the other hand have shown more footage and technical mastery than zelda. I simply can't understand zelda hype over both uncharted 4 and horizon given the little amount we've seen about zelda

Why are we comparing Zelda (action adventure) to Until Dawn (survival horror), Horizon (action rpg) and Uncharted (third person shooter)?

This is a Wii U thread, go talk about PS4 exclusives elsewhere.

Those games came with hopeful release years, and why bring up a game from 4 years ago lol. It does matter because their not announcing games just to announce games like Square or Sony. Those companies INTENTIONALLY announce games and don't even give you a year. Ninty has clearly adopted a philosophy of announcing games within the year or atleast try I should say. Its understandable why both companies do what they do. Ninty has to have games every year for obvious reasons, Sony on the other hand can take their precious time.
