Nope, they said several times that they are always working on their next home console before we even knew the Codename "NX".

I think NX is a portable that can double as a home console, it's basically the reverse of the Wii U concept. So I wouldn't neccessarily take Reggie's word to mean NX is a traditional big box home console.

It can work as a home console sure, but that doesn't mean it's a traditional home console in the way we think.
