I don't see how anyone can say Nintendo didn't give strong support to Wii U.

No, I like a lot what the console has to offer.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I no longer recommend Nintendo systems to my friends. I'm the only one with a wiiu, and I actually get asked all the time if they should get one too. I always say no. It's too expensive, it's not going to have as many games as every other console, and the ones it does have aren't really that special.

I mean Wii U only had 2 full years (2013 and 2014) and Nintendo is already teasing there new console in 2015...
Do Wii U owners feel betray from Nintendo?
Are you going to buy NX?

Sigh.... By november it will be 3 full years. Chances are if it releases it 2016 it'll be november. 4 Full years a REGULAR lifespan for a console. So why should anyone be disappointed and why are you trying to make it look like NX (if it is a console) is coming out tomorrow?

How is 2015 not a full year?

because we are still in the month of August. :)

Onn topic, not sure what people (non Wii U owners) is expecting from Wii U owners.  Just post something in public that we feel betrayed, no Zelda U until now. Maybe something like that, but the current library is really great.  Lots of gems and I wanted to own most of those games if possible.

So, Nintendo gave us all the games that we needed with an amazing quality.
Why should I feel betrayed? in fact, I feel pleased.

Well of course, Wii U is the less powerful, the one with less sales and less 3rd party AAA games of the big 3 and Nintendo games don't count. No one shoud feel satisfied owning this console.

Do you like Psvita? No way!

We reap what we sow

I love my Wii U, and I think it's definitely a great purchase. That said, while I don't feel betrayed per se, I do feel that it didn't live up to its potential and that buying it early on was my only mistake. The library is solid, but nothing compared to previous generations, and those droughts were just ridiculous. Until Nintendo makes a system with a massive opening lineup, I'm going to operate under the assumption that I can't count on anything in a timely manner. It will take a big, BIG launch game to justify a day 1 purchase.

The sheer number of quality exclusives make it well worth owning.

Right now, my library consists of these games which I can't play anywhere else:

Bayonetta 2
Splatoon
Super Mario 3D World
Mario Kart 8
Pikmin 3
The Wonderful 101
The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker HD (A remaster, but worth at least mention)
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze
Hyrule Warriors
New Super Mario Bros
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
As well as other 'lesser' games like Mario Party 10 and Nintendoland, and ZombiU which will soon lose it's exclusive status

And I'm looking forward to games like Yoshi's Wooly World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Star Fox Zero, Fatal Frame, SMTXFE and Super Mario Maker. I imagine the new Zelda will the WiiU's swan song, but if that's so, I'll be alright with it.
