lol wow XBO users get the game a full year before PS4 users. That is crazy. If Sony didn't one-up MS every single time this wouldn't have happened.

thread posts??? these aren't facts..... the fact is that Microsoft announce Holiday 2015 timed exclusive last year. 

Microsoft paid to have this game exclusive to X1 for a time. It would make no financial sense for square enix to not bring this title to PS4 once this deal is over. 

Especially concidering the global market of the PS4. Japan and most of Europe, The PS4 is the main console on the market and they will be waiting for Rise of Tomb raider to play on their console of choice.

PS4 has the sales so it does not really matter.

It is a mistake, imo. It just adds fuel to the sales fiasco, of it coming out the same day as Fallout 4, and so close to alot of other great games.

I hardly see a microsoft executive closing on a million dollars deal without proper paperwork.

I would say MS lawyers messed up something in the contracts. 

There is a huge difference between "Microsoft said it was timed" and "A PS4 version will come later". There was never any announcement that a PS4 version was going to release, though many of us assumed it would.

There is also a huge difference between "Everyone knew the game was coming" and "the devs hinted that it was coming".

You said that everyone knew it was coming, that's obviously not true.

Then people should not care about Tomb Raider. PS4 has the sales and the games.

I'm not sure why they said it. It's a mistake on both MS and Square's fault. MS should have made sure SE would be quiet until after the game released. And if SE could say anything at any time, then they really should have clarified this after the timed exclusivity announcement last year.
