I guess with their strong connections with Sony, it makes up for the lack of games from Western Developers for the Vita, and it most likely sells very well internationally.

Dude, this thread was biased to begin with. It asks which handheld has the best upcoming games, but the first thing you see is a huge 3ds titles exhibition and absolutely no title from the vita not tablet not phone. At least one game could have been researched, but that would have been too much effort for the guy making a 'fair' comparison thread. Work for the vita was asked for, and despite not owning a vita myself, I thought you did a pretty good job, but it is sad that the work you put in won't get used.

This is really no contest.

Vita is getting a lot of niche japanese games as usual while 3DS is getting games with some slightly more variety.

it is already been discussed on several pages in this thread.  I've mentioned it already that BowserKing (BlowererKing) about the Vita games.  several posters and mods already posted to put those games in the original post, so that all readers won't think it is a biased thread.  the OP mentioned he didn't have much info on established IPs on Vita, hence he can't construct a great information about vita games, hence other posters tried to post those Vita games.

end of the day, it is mostly on what games you prefer to play.  There are a ton of JRPG games that is localized in the west to cater for the Vita audience there.

i've also mentioned that it is great that handheld is greatly supported in Japan, compared to the west which is mostly home consoles.

The thread is still biased imho, but that is not the main issue.

What really annoys me on this is that people got mad that there were no vita games on the list. The op's reason was that no one made a detailed list. Then, when 2 people actually put in the work to make a list, their work is ignored.

I don't have a vita, I have a 3ds, but even I was annoyed when there is no vita/tablet/phone game when people put actual work that could be used

i just visited the first page after my post. and the author of this thread didn't put those games yet, not sure if he is banned, or haven't logged in to VGChartz forum.  And I don't know if Mods can put the list to the OP or to be exact, in the second post. 

I would say 3DS, since it's getting Project X Zone 2, Dragon Quest VIII and has better first-party games.
