I didn't look through the 35 pages of posts here to see if this has been posted yet, so sorry if it has. The minds of gaming mourn the loss of Mr. Iwata. RIP, you were one of the greatest minds to grace the industry, and I am sure you had the foresight to prepare the company for your passing. You worked right up until the day you died, through the pain and the fatigue, we in the gaming community appreciate all that you did to help elevate the industry to the level it is at today. GAME ON SATORU!

That was beautifully put. You can feel every emotion there is to feel by reading this message.

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile
Very sudden and sad news. Iwata always felt genuine in his love for the medium and industry and had a sense of humor about himself. I always enjoyed having him in gaming and will miss the youthful zeal he brought to an industry too often ruled by cynicism.

That was really touching
This is actually affecting me a great deal, especially considering I never even met the man. Way more than the passing of other public figures really. It's that over the years, he seemed so genuinly passionate for games and concernced for the fans. Especially with the Nintendo Directs which were always presented in a personal, charming manner, with a lot of humour.
This story of someone who met him, I think, also gives a good impression of the man's character.
