Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo of America has dropped Plans For US Release of Devil's Third

So, let me get this straight.
People will yell and rage at companes like EA, Activsion, Ubisoft, and Sega for releasing bad/broken/terrible games even though they know how bad they are, but release them regardless just to make money instead of putting quality first.
But when Nintendo, more specifically Nintendo of America does the exact opposite and actually puts quality first, and just doesn't bother with it, people STILL yell and rage for not bringing the game here, despite it being apparent that the game is bad??

Did I miss something here?

Uhhh, that game looks like complete and utter shit from 1998. It's also developed by some company called Valhalla. Why should Nintendo publish it? It's obviously way below standard.

I dont even know how to adress such a terrible post. 1998 was in plain PS1 era. If you think Devil's third looks like those games, then i recommend you check your eye sight health.

Yes! The fact the game isnt out yet and this is a rumor. Why are we assuming this game is crap? I have seen nothing to atest to this. We should at least you know... actually see the game to know if theres any shread if evidence to this?!

One less game looks a lot more desolate on the Wii-U. I applaud them for the decision if the game is dud.

Devils Third isnt broken. Apparently just bad. That doesn't mean they shouldn't release it. Its very elitist of Nintendo to do this always thinking they're better than everyone else.

I wonder who the double agent at NoA is...

I honestly don't believe it. NoA might not want to publish, but i dont believe its going to be a bad game. All the footage i saw and from what i know of Itagaki, i don't see how that can be the case.
If anything, its NoA thinking a violent shooter doesnt fit their image and choosing not to release it.

we'll most likely know if this is true on 15th when those previews are out but NoA is publishing Fatal Frame, and Xenoblade X later this and they did publish Bayonetta 2 last so i am pretty sure it does come down to quality and faith in sales.

Well this rumor is kind of a package deal.  The video asserts that the game isn't coming to North America because of quality problems.  Both parts are rumors.  People are flying off the handle without thinking about a lot of things or waiting to see if either part of this is true.

Wow. I had no plans to buy it but I'm sure that will disappoint a few people here.
