That idea is flawed. Based on the Bible, the only reason it could be okay at first is because there was no one else but relatives to have babies with. When the population got big enough to support itself without having babies with direct family members, it was banned (Leviticus 18:6). So I guess based on the Bible, you could argue it is only okay if there isn't anyone else.

It should not be legal, at least in most cases. The reason for this is because the age and power dynamics involve would often prevent people from making a clear and informed choice. Parents are in a position of authority, and this power dynamic can exist even into adulthood.

And, there is also the issue that, if it is allowed, a person could probably raise their child in such a way that they will be receptive to sexual advancements as they get older.

So, for older/younger generations, I'd say it obviously should be banned. For relationships among members of the same generation, it's a different thing. It's icky, but it's hard to think of a reason for it to be illegal beyond the potential for malformed children.
