I think Nintendo will do something with the Wii U-NX to ease the transition. Like maybe Wii U owners get a free game when they purchase an NX. That would go a long way to easing any bitterness. At some point too, I think Wii U owners have to grow up a little bit. Nintendo is a business and has to do what's best for the company.

Writing off an entire fiscal year, not being able to make dividend payments to stockholders, missing your profit targets, having your stock price suffer just so a group of Nintendo fans who are stomping their feet and insisting on no new hardware until they get their Animal Crossing and Metroid just isn't a sane way to run a business.

Nintendo needs NX out quickly so it can start an upturn in revenue and profit for Nintendo, and new hardware takes time to build momentum too (the first 6 months is usually a write off), so it would be more like Nintendo writing off two full fiscal years if they don't launch NX soon.

Nintendo last year made $350m profit..I think in Wii U situation, worst possible case would be to launch as soon as possible next hardware that isn't prepared too well. They need good and strong launch for hardware that dont have Wii U mistakes, for all that they need time.

They will release new hardware when they prepare all that properly, maybe will be end of 2016. maybe 2017.

Depending on how good the software and hardware sales for both WiiU and 3DS, I could see Nintendo releasing the NX during the middle of 2017. They are going to release a lot of games during 2016, and they won't purposely kill the hardware-software numbers by announcing the console so soon. And besides, the longer they wait, the more time they'll have to develope games (both 1st and 3rd parties).

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Why thats a shame!? Hyrule Warriors is very good game in Zelda universe, Bayonetta 2 is also very good game but very specific genre.

It's a shame because Bayonetta 2 is a much better game in the exact same genre.  That genre is called hack n slash.

Do you think that level grinding on a hack n slash game is fun?  If so, that's cool, but I don't.

Back on topic, I'd love to see Monster Games make a new racing game.  Somethng new in the Excite series perhaps?

HW didn't smash Bayonetta 2 sales and the two games aren't in the same genre at all.

Hyruke warriors is indeed a hack and slash, where you fight hundreds/thousands of stupid enemies waiting to be hit, without much (if any) challenge.

Bayonetta 2 is a full fledged action game. You only fight a few enemies at a time and they are actually hard to beat on normal difficulty or higher, forcing you to really time your dodges and attacks to win.
