It's a shame because Bayonetta 2 is a much better game in the exact same genre. That genre is called hack n slash. Do you think that level grinding on a hack n slash game is fun? If so, that's cool, but I don't. Back on topic, I'd love to see Monster Games make a new racing game. Somethng new in the Excite series perhaps? |
HW didn't smash Bayonetta 2 sales and the two games aren't in the same genre at all.
Hyruke warriors is indeed a hack and slash, where you fight hundreds/thousands of stupid enemies waiting to be hit, without much (if any) challenge.
Bayonetta 2 is a full fledged action game. You only fight a few enemies at a time and they are actually hard to beat on normal difficulty or higher, forcing you to really time your dodges and attacks to win.
